Kevin Carroll made his way to regionals by averaging 74.6 shots per round during conference play, which put him in the top 10 for average scoring through the year.

At the Southern California PGA Champions course in Beaumont, California, both missed qualifying for state tournament on Monday.

Carroll shot a two round total of 155 and Caldwell shot a 153, missing the state tournament by two shots in the 36-hole event.

Meanwhile, sophomore Carlos Raez was the overall medallist twice during the season with a two under par 70 at Cypress Ridge Country Club and one under par at 71 at Glendora Country Club.

Along with individual successes, the Citrus team's highlight was beating the Western State Conference Champions, College of the Canyons, by six strokes at 376.

" My top four players are gone," said Golf Coach Marsh Shumaker. "Next year's team will be based with freshmen, so get ready to see new faces."
