Board repeals lifetime benefits

Two sweeping changes were made to campus policies by the Citrus Community College Board of Trustees at its Nov. 20 meeting.   During the previous meeting of the board Oct. 16, Citrus College Faculty Association president John Fincher presented the board with two ultimatums regarding lifetime health care and use of campus resources. Easygoing employee starts anew

For 24 years, the doors to Pamela McGuern’s various offices have always been open.   Now, after nearly a quarter-century of service, McGuern will be closing the doors for the first and final time. After already surpassing last season’s loss total, the Owls men’s basketball team seems to have recaptured some of the magic from the program’s 2011-12 Final Four run.   Despite an early 17-point deficit, an abundance of turnovers and abysmal outside shooting, the Owls (5-4) pulled out a 90-81 comeback road win over the El Camino College Compton Center Tartars (4-2) Nov.
